Friendship Days
 ILJ Friendship Days will be October 8-12 Invite your friends to ilj and help them avoid registration hassles and delays. Of course you can invite friends any time but on these days they can avoid "standing in line" to register and get on the boards quickly and we will try to have some special friendship days events. Just click on my name to email me and tell me the email address from which they will be registering or ask them to click my name and tell me who invited them. Added plus if a registered member lets me know a friend is coming their first posts won't need to wait for moderation but will show up immediately. The Doorway will be open for immediate posting even before registration is processed. And there will be a prize for the person or persons who bring the most friends to ilj during those 4 days. If you have ideas to make ilj Friendship Days more fun please post them and we'll try to do it - or if you have ?'s

I think we should have an old-fashioned apple butter simmered in a cauldron over an open fire like the Amish do event. I volunteer to taste all of the entries and award the blue ribbon to the best.
 Also, a contest for the best money-saving tips and ways to have fun when you're broke.

Just a reminder
Please ask your friends to email me or you email me and let me know this is someone you invited so they don't have to wait for membership to be moderated. They will still need to register to post anywhere but The Doorway, Prayer, and Ask but we can avoid the time delays for IP checks etc. and give them quicker access top the bds. Thanks.

Does anyone have a cauldron we can borrow? I have the wood piles up and ready for them, and Farmer Smith donated 100 pounds of apples. Bring your own spices and sugar, though.
