Arrow Depth Of Love

Depth of Love

When it comes to Love we're just skimming the surface seen
But rarely test the waters to see how far Real Love goes down
Let alone know what Love does, when unafraid to dive in

Walking in a creek of Love freely as children unafraid of the depth
Exploring wherever we went, looking under every rock for treasure
Didn't matter if it turned gold to dollars

Somewhere along the way walked out of the creek never coming back
Quick to lose fascination unless it produced more greed then sentiment
Thinking love can easily be bought, rather then found

Oh how times change with technology spoiling the spoilers even more
Instead of exploring the beautiful Creation, stuck trying to find latest app
Looking in places real Love won't be found to see the depth

Were fearing more then past generations as the teachings stopped
Along with the Family gatherings at the table for the Truth to be told
As Love can't be bought, only split apart when scratching the surface

Oh where have the Children that explored in the creek of Love gone?
Why haven't you taken your children back, to where you were unafraid
When in comes to the Depth of Love, teach them to just dive in

We won't understand God's Love until we're willing to find the depth
Stop being afraid to walk in the creek of Love till it turns into a river
Use the raft of your faith to ride till the river pours into the Ocean
"Poetry surrounds us everywhere, but putting it on paper is, alas, not so easy as looking at it.
Vincent Van Gogh"

Love the picture of children exploring the creek. So much of this poem is sad, very sad but very true.
1Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. ... Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. Matthew 25:40 & 45
