People are hurting. Are you one of them?
Job losses, home losses, economic turmoil have caused hurt for a lot of people. Maybe you are one of them. They have also created opportunities to share Jesus' love in practical ways. Is that something you and your church do? You not start a food ministry or a clothes closet - or them again you might - but how about inviting a friend who is having a hard time to Thanksgiving dinner and sharing the take home leftovers, or leaving a gift card for the supermarket n the mailbox of a neighbor who is out of work, or giving junior's outgrown coat to a chlid who may have outgrown his and need one or starting a neighborhood hand me down exchange or sharing through Freecycle http://groups.yahoo.com/search?query=freecycle? What works for you? What has someone done that helped you through a hard time? Did you see Jesus love in it?
