For me, this past 24 hours brought restoration of a relationship with a fellow believer.

Yesterday the Lord gave my my "kid fix" by sending me to be a chaperon for my daughter's second grade class trip to Ocali Days (living history exhibits of early Ocala). It was fun. Second graders are so cute. It was raining when I got to the school, and had stopped by the time we arrived at Silver River State Park, then resumed after everyone had boarded the bus to return to school.

My dearly beloved was on his way home from choir practice last night around 9 or so and suddenly he had a flat tire. We live out in the Forest, and occasional lighting is non-existent in some places. He was caught in one of those places with minimal cell connectivity.
But Jesus. He was able to get AAA and they said they would be there in under an hour. Not a terribly encouraging thought in the woods at night near the time of the new moon. The Forest has long been a shelter for notorious sorts like Ma Barker and her sons. Harry had his four-way flashers on, though, and an unlikely angel showed up in a Sheriff's car and stayed with him until AAA got there. \ /

Health and strength,for myself, it's been a very busy year at work,for Shirley,she's been doing better lately and is actually going on a "shopping outing" with several other ladies from church tomorrow to a number of thrift stores in our corner of PA. And for my "adopted" mom,Patty,she is doing better too. Has been receiving some treatments that hopefully will help build her immune system and help her to breath easier too.

Woke up to a golden day here too. Starting to feel better for which I praise the Lord. A wet musty molding mop and I would have been about twins last night and this AM except that the mop would have been a lot more use around here when the toilet overflowed. Even the kitkins had warm ears and noses. Thank the Lord for healing.
