Here's one by me, just after reading some of my man Will's stuff

"I doth wander upon the hill,
And totter on the razor's edge,
But could I would follow they will,
To climb up off this broken ledge.
Were I to find the right true path,
Exposed to me by your bright eyes,
To find your love and scorn your wrath,
And no longer engage in my false guise.
For in your word you come two-fold,
But it is your love for which I long,
You thawed my heart no longer cold,
And I'm proud to praise you with the throng.
For doth in death you saved my life,
And in your word, salvation from stryfe."

Just a little sonnet...not my favorite form but it kept me from falling asleep in class.

I have more around, but I found most them to be fairly lame. I know I've got some decent stuff somewhere, just wish I could find.
I'm more of a short story writer anyways.

This is one I put in a contest

Wellspring of Whispers

It seems I've come,
Come again to a point of confusion.
Our state of dissallusion.
Where whispers of life tell me,
Tell me to go ahead.
To stand upon the rock,
And shout to all I have made it.
For it is a journey from whence we came,
To where we shall go.
With perils and pitfalls,
We have all tread our paths,
But at some point convergence must appear.
Together for a breif moment are we all.
Your soul melds with mine.
My mind is yours.
For we are one and the same.
And it is here that the wellspring,
The wellspring of life is contained.
With solidarity,
In togetherness.

"Bars of paper green,
With Lincoln's wrapped around them.
PC Formality,
Over the family cubical.
Forced to do
The nine to five.
Life of obscurity,
Makes no difference,
No dissadance.
Passionless fight.
No tears,
For the matterless,
Life?"

"For the yoke is heavy,
On the hapless oxen,
To plow the barren field,
In the sunless day.
Digging in dry soil,
To plant long dead seads,
for the farmer named Iniquity."

"Once upon a time,
Little Red played with the wolf,
The pigs built houses for others,
Three bears held a picnic,
Rumple gave to the poor,
Muffett had insect friends,
And the world was good."

I have more, but they will remain unpublished for the moment.

the rules here in creative works are still in the making, but a few of these seemed too much for any younger readers to come across. i'm going to talk to vinnie, but i hope you can understand my decision.
