Jason is strictly forbidden to say ANYTHING until he gives me my dissertation.

I like them. But I'm really annoyed that it's taking them so long to go from hardback to paperback.

DO YOU HEAR ME, TYNDALE PRESS?? I DON'T CARE HOW LONG YOU MAKE ME WAIT I'M NOT PAYING HARDBACK PRICES!!! I CAN HOLD OUT LONGER THAN YOU!!!!!!! :redhotmad  :somad:

I had no problem getting mine in paperback but maybe that's because I only have bought the first one so far

I have the first six. I'm waiting for 7 and 8 to come out in paperback.

I found the first three or four to be a very compelling story with real life characters who could be identified with. However I think the books have become really bad. Desecration is probably one of the worse books I have ever read IMHO

Since the higher number is worse in your poll you don't have a number high enough to express how much I dislike them. In fact, I considered editing the poll to add an "infinity" option, but self-control got the better of me. ;)

Flannel, you'll get your dissertation eventually but it will be in the form of discussion and right now I'm working on my Gospels paper final draft which is going to end up being longer than my friend at home's senior thesis.

Peace, Love, and Jesus Christ,

I haven't been able to even make myself read the first one in the kids series. I don't know if the adult books are any different, but the kid's one are boring.

You're not missing much, IMHO. I read the first book but couldn't even get past the third chapter of the second one. The style of writing is not what I enjoy reading, because they so carefully lay everything out for you; I like a challenge, I like to have to think about what I'm reading. But that is the very least of the issues I have with the books.

That said, if people enjoy them and if they bring anyone to Jesus or strengthen any Christians' faith, I don't have a problem with that!

A good fantasy read. I've got friends who are all into it. I've yet to find any Orthodox who go for it though.
Whatever, it's like Star trek as far as I'm concerned.

For those of you who are all into the "end times," try reading information regarding the subject PRIOR to the 1800's. (That is, how have Christians dealt with it prior to the 1800's)

Peace.

They lead me to Christ. I attended Church and everything with my friend, but I never really took a good look at my relationship with Christ. These books were a real wake up call, maybe thats why I love them so much.

Sweet! I'm really glad to hear that. God bless you in your continuing journey :)

What did you think of the book as compared to the movie?

I think the book was a lot better.

Books are far better... I wasnt really into the movie that much. Took the fun out of alot of things, because I imagined all the characters differently (appearance) and I think my way suits them better... ;) J/k
