If it ever came up where I were to evangelize to a Muslim, is there a website somewhere on how to? For instance, if I could get basic knowledge that I could say to them on Islam to get them thinking? Or stuff on Christianity versus Islam, or the Bible versus Islam?
Thanks

 Hi Kimmy: Bless You-Bless You for Your thoughts on presenting the Gospel to the lost muslims. I do not know of a web site on witnessing to muslims. Here is a bit of information that I hope will be helpful.
I have a friend who was in the east once and who was talking to a muslim. This muslim man was friendly enough but he was telling my friend "Your Jesus-My mohammed same, same. My friend said No, No Not the same. What else transpired, I do not know. Most muslims do acknowledge that Jesus existed but that He was only a great Prophet, A great Teacher, A great Man. They do not believe that He is Son of God, Lord and Savior, Very God Himself.
In Genesis Chapter 16, we have the story of Ishmael who is considered to be the father of the Arabs. Read this carefully. They will also acknowldge that Abraham is their Father too.
Fast Forward to Jesus. John 3-16-Read. Also in Acts 4-12 we read: "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Jesus is the only way that mankind can be saved and live eternally with our Lord in a Paradise prepared for us. Anyone wishing to be saved must have this personal relationship with Jesus. There is no other way. The invitation is simply this: Do You receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior?
This is the simple message And invitation that we should present to all--Even The muslims. Remember-Never forget, When you are acquainting people with this Good News, You are not alone. The Comforter, The Holy Spirit is there with You.
A closing point is this: In Isaiah 55-11 we read:
"So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
You are Never Alone. Agape. Grandpa.

Hello Kimmy
Here is one site that may be helpful to you. I have not spent a lot of time on it so there may be problems I don't know about. Please let me know what you think about it.

Something else to keep in mind, if we studies all our lives we would never ever know every varrient and every bit of information about each now Christian belief system. But God does know and He can guide you to say exactly the right things at exactly the right time. One Memorial day weekend my husband and I went to the Northeast whee I am from so he could meet some more of my family. The night we were leaving I wanted to stop by the beach where I grew up. By this time it was about 2 AM. The place was totally deserted when we pulled into the parking lot by the beach. Around the corner came a young guy walking very fast looking like he was late somewhere. He walked directly up to my husband and asked if he was familiar with a certain cult. He wasn't and the guy started talking to him about it. I was very familiar with the group but it didn't have many if any followers anywhere my husband had lived. But when the guy stopped Charles told him "if you'll look ahead a little bit and compare ___ with the Bible you'll see that they don't follow Jesus because ..." and he went on to explain in detail what was wrong. The guy started to shake. It seemed he had done the absolutely forbidden and looked ahead in his cult lesson book and and the very next 2 lessons were on exactly what Charles was talking with him about. From what I knew of the group I knew what Charles said hit exactly the major diferences between their beliefs and the Bible but he only knew the Holy Spirit gave him those things to say. The guy gave his heart back to Jesus and was delivered on the spot. It is good to be prepared but the very best preparation of all is to love Jesus and be in harmony and communication with Him.
God bless you.
