Im not sure if this is the right forum or not, if its wrong forgive me ann, don't ushally involve myself in politics but this time I think it's worth it. Please read the quote from Dale Thompson lead singer of Bride and an ordan Minister heavely involved in poltics for Christ that I got from an email sent by him.

I AM VOTING McCAIN / PALIN!

Never before has America been so worshipful and reverent to a Presidential
candidate as Obama. But there is a reason that I am so adamant to spread the
word about this imposter. This man who claims to be an American citizen has
yet to prove his citizenship and a judge in his home state of Hawaii has
blocked any attempt to peer into his birth records. There are many things
that disqualify Obama from being President. First he stands for everything
America is not. He has always voted pro-choice and has stripped the rights
away from the unborn. He is for same sex marriage which is a violation of
the laws of God. He is for stiff regulation which would lead to banning guns
altogether which is our 2nd amendment right to own guns. He plans on raising
our taxes in the middle of a so-called economic crisis. He will cut back our
military and our national defense will suffer because of it. He plans on
pulling our troops out of the Middle East and resettling them in Africa. He
has many terrorist ties and has vowed to sit down and talk to the terrorist
to try to resolve our differences. That is what caused WWII! He adheres to
Marxist beliefs and follows a socialist pattern. These patterns have been
tried all throughout the world and have met dismal failure in every part of
the world. He will promote the Fairness Doctrine which will make it a crime
for radio talk show host to express their opinions and eventually this
mentality will be legislated straight to our pulpits. I foresee under
Obama's administration that the Pastor will be silenced when preaching the
truth because it will be considered a hate crime. Obama's government will be
huge with enormous spending which will bankrupt the country.

Those above are just my opinion. If you strongly disagree I really do not
care. No Born Again Christian can in their right mind vote for a man who has
been raised a Muslim and who now hangs his hat on a Christian label, being
taught for the past twenty years by a mad man posing as a preacher with
raciest and hate filled sermons (Jeremiah Wright).

You can quote me on that.

If you want proof of Obama's lies and deceptions pertaining to his citizen
ship then visit the following links for accurate reports unlike the ones you
will find in the mainstream media or on CNN.

This will be my last political commentary. But now you know!

Save America, trust God and vote against Barak Obama.

Dale

We are allowing political commentary and the accusations especially the ones re citizenship are very serious but please let's not have this turning into a name calling fest.

Also please note that in law the burden of proof is on the one making a statement not on the person about whom it is made having to prove it untrue.

Until I read some real proof about these accusations (because I don't consider World Net to be an accurate, reliable, unbiased news source), then I will continue to stand behind Obama. Even my dad - who is a devout Christian - has seen that most of the smears against him are nothing more than desperate attempts by the conservatives to discredit him.

Here is just an example of some of the rumors that have been spread about Obama - most of them proven to be either totally false or taken out of context: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/obama.asp Also if you go to http://www.truthorfiction.com/index-politics.htm you will find more rumors about him that have been proven false or only partially true.

I don't believe in telling anyone who they should/should not vote for. I also don't believe in questioning someone's religious beliefs just because I don't agree with their choice of candidate. I do believe though in getting all the facts about each one and doing one's own research before making an informed decision as to who they feel is best for the job.

FYI, John McCain also supports same-sex unions. And there are similar accusations regarding his citizenship. Just to point out that it goes both ways and each side is equally guilty of mudslinging.

Checking out Breni's links just as I checked out Walker's I found on Snopes a link to Obama's birth certificate. The comments on World News Daily claim that there was only a certificate of live birth not one telling where Obama was born. The birth certificate shown indicates a place of birth specifically Honolulu, Hawaii, so unless back in 1961 there was a conspiracy to falsify the birth certificate because someone knew that little kid would one day want to be president which seems awfully ulikely he was born in the US. The thing that most made me think that accusation wasn't true when I first heard it last night was that the Clinton camp didn't make it before the primaries. I felt sure if there was anything that important they would have found it and shouted it to try to defeat him. But then I also hadn't known that McCain was born in Panama but in the can al zone which I guess counts as a US territory.

This is not posted to support Obama because I don't support him - I am kind of on the position of praying for the Lord to show me the lesser of 2 evils and I believe He has. It's posted because a very serious accusation was made and I beliebve all of us at ilj care about truth as we serve the One who said "I am the Truth". Snopes is certainly not inerrant but the info is usually researched pretty well in my opinion and while documents can be falsified the one shown on net was indeed made available when it was claimed that it was not and it does show birth in the US.

So most of all pray for Jesus to show you His truth and guide you as you vote.

McCain / Palin ...
I only vote moral issues..
and again as long as there is someone who stands up for the unborn and against homosexual marriage I will vote..
No moral leadership..no point in voting anymore...
Obama is the slickest lawyer this country has ever seen ..

Trusting God ..
Praying ...
Trusting God...
Praying...
I know that my future is in His hands and He will work all things out for the good of His people...

This Scripture is especially important to me..
"If my people which are called by My name.." you all know it..
that Scripture would not be there if His people had already called upon His Name...
We are provoked to call upon Him and seek His face ..
And when we do..... He answers...
And...
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Amen and Amen...

Pray...seek...turn...hear.... act....trust God for the outcome... :ipray:
