What do you see yourself doing in the next 10 yrs? What do you think will be happening in and to on line communities? Will there still be message bds? Will any of us still be at ilj?

Helooooo
Within the next 10 years I will have received my RN and be working in a field that I find completely interesting and challenging. In 10 years my children will be 23, 20, and 18. (okay that was a scary thought) I hope to have traveled more with my husband and see my children be successful (not just monitarily) at whatever they are doing. As far as the internet and message boards, I hope ILJ will continue to be here for a very long time. It is such a blessing to many people.

Just keeping it like it is
The way that you all are!
what does "TY" mean?
is that ten years?
am i being retarded?
TY = Thank you
So how was your birthday? And what do you see your self doing in the next 10 yrs if the Lord has not come back yet? What do you think will be happening with on line communities like ilj?
I hope I'll be a grandmother--more than once. :) I think online communities are weighted on the side of blogs and online journals. Possibly message boards that meet specific needs will still be going. Maybe Jesus will have come back by then...and we won't need message boards or blogs. Hard to say!
I honestly have not given it thought..
10 years at my age is a big chunk of time..
about the online boards...I do not see how they could be improved as I so enjoy them..even in slow times...
and in my opinion personal pages do not come close to the larger more including fellowship of a board of many Christians...:hmm:
Seems to me a personal blog or journal would be centered on me and my life where boards are centered on Jesus and His work in our lives.. :shepherd:
How old will your grandbabies be in 10 yrs if Jesus hasn't yet returned, Tann?
Yikes... one will be 18 one will be 16 one will be 14 and one will be 12...
Kind of cool to have them all two years apart..I can remember their ages that way...
Oh no!!!! .... I want them to stay little.... :wah:
ooooh. "thank you". okay. ha.
um, my birthday was ok. that was my graduation, too. and i had to give the valedictorian speech. so i nearly fainted before i gave it. but i didn't stop praying the whole time. and afterward, tons of people said my speech was really good. so that made me happy.
in the next ten years? i might still be in school. i want to get a master's degree and a PhD. so who knows. it would be nice to be married, though. haha.

Ten years,:hmm: let's see....
Hopefully even deeper in love with Jesus, still here at ILJ,if the Lord doesn't return first or take me home, would love to have another ten years with my Shirley.
I think the number of online communities will continue to grow, with message boards still being around though maybe not used as much with sites like Myspace and Facebook growing by the thousands daily. Though personally,it's nice to have a christian board to share with others without all the garbage out there.
