No, sorry. What was it about?
I started to...but I could never get into it.
It was a remake of a myth. It was very deep with lots of symbolism.

It starts off REAL slow. Force yourself throught it. I think you would find it worth it. It picks up once you get towards the middle. Great book.
maybe I'll borrow it from my friend again when I'm not reading a million other things for school and such.

Haven't read that one yet. I plan on it though!
I HAVE I HAVE! :D
Yes, I agree that it is a great book and so deep that I had to almost "chew" on it a while. hehe

Haven't read it. But I have read some of his other work, so I am sure this one is probably just as excellent. He always had a way of explaining things that made them seem so simple & easy to understand.
Perhaps after the holidays when I have time.

Maybe in Mere Christianity, Miracles, The Great Divorce or The Screwtape Letters yeah, but not in TWHF. It is actually my favorite Christian-fiction book.
Of course, Gracie just breezed right through it ;)
well- I decided to pick it up over Christmas break - the first couple chapters were really slow - but it's starting to pick up a bit! I think part of the reason I don't like it very much so far is because I've never been interested in the whole myth/fantasy side of literature..I don't know! I'm gonna try to read it though!

Welllll,
I didn't "breeze" through it. LOL Actually, I was kind of confused there for a while. Then I said "OH!" :eureka:
I like it. I think I might read it again. It's been a long time since I read it.

this book was so amazing. Really deep. you read it and you feel old or really wise.
I love the myth stuff... Sometimes its more real because black is black and white is white.
bring up old threads if you like. that is why they are archived. and i agree with all that you said about the book. it was totally awesome :)
Got it from the library again
I can't find it at any discount book stores though:redhotmad
