I personally love Francine Rivers...though her books can be a little riske, she writes very well.

I think she did actually...maybe - she did a series that took 5 women from the Bible - I don't know if Esther was one of them or not
Ruth, Tamar, Mary, Rahab, and one other one....maybe it was Esther, maybe not
