Urg, I have a bone to pick!

Maybe this is just a small town thing, but none of our gyms or rec centers here have daycare facilities! There's a really great pool & work out place in the next town over, but I can't go because there's nowhere to put Silas while I'm working out. Same with Curves and our other gym. It's frustrating! Not everybody has a babysitter on speed-dial or the cash to pay one... grrrrrrr :redhotmad

Is there a space (or if you are in a warm area a nearby park) where moms could trade-off child care...one mom watch the little ones while the other exercises and then the other watch while that mom exercises?

I don't know any other moms around here who go to the gym. I think we have all resigned ourselves to going for walks with strollers or working out in our living rooms LOL

Will mgmt at the great place let you post a notice? Have you asked any of the places to get a sitter on premesis at some specific time? Maybe they don't realize how much business they are loosing. Or of course you might join with a friend one of the other mom's whose trapped at home.
