Has anyone here tried the South Beach Diet? I want to do it. Not so much because I need to lose weight or anything like that. I need to eat healthier.

It's basically cutting sugar, startch and simple carbs out totally for the first 2 weeks then slowly re-incorporating them.

I bought one of those jumbo giant bags of Reeses peanut butter cups a few days ago and it's almost all gone. I pigged it. My husband and kids had a few but I had almost the whole thing! We need a pig emoticon. LOL

I am a sugar addict.

Any advice? Tips, tricks or handy information for me?

I think Jason mentioned something about this. I'm not real familiar with it though.

My wife is the same way with chocolates in the house. She bought some candy a while ago and made me ration them to her so she wouldn't eat them all at once. Although she still hasn't been feeling good so she hasn't eaten all that much lately...

That's pretty much the kind of diet I follow...I works well except you have to be very careful after the two weeks not to crash back into the carbs and sugars. I hope it works out well for you! :)
