O most worthy Champion Scarecrow,
Although mine official allegience must rest with the Tyrant for this duel should it be necessary for him to choose me as his advisor, rest assured that this humble dweller of the kingdom of ILJ hast thou in his constant hopes and prayers so that the kingdom would not once again fall to the whim of the Tyrant. I fear an insurgence of the forces of dark dawn, and I will take whatever measures are necessary to aid thy cause outside of my potential official duties as possible advisor to the Tyrant in this duel. As you can see, this could cause a rather interesting conundrum... Should the call come from the IRA "Orpheus, wilt thou join us?" Though it may cause my spirit to be torn from this tomb of flesh, I will gladly join the most noble cause.

I dare defy? Surely I know not enough to know what the word means, for the more one learns, the more one forgets. With my great and vast knowledge of all the things of creation which I have obtained through purely worthy and legitimate means, surely I have forgotten more than there ever was to learn- therefore, I know less than nothing. Therefore, how could I know what it means to defy? How can an eye be deaf? I thought eyes were for seeing...
