I could have sworn I started a thread like this already, but oh well...

Anyway, last week was my first full week of doing this. I really like it. It is hard at first, but you can build up to doing all the exercises. Plus it is not aerobic where you are jumping around stuff and getting exhausted and frustrated. I think I like that the most...that I can do it and not hate it, and not dread it. So far I do feel more flaxible. I am curious to see if I lose any weight doing this, or get toned up. I think I will. I'll let ya'll know. So far though, I am really enjoying it!

Hey! I bought mine several weeks ago (a month or more) and then I didn't have access to my DVD player so I couldn't use it. Now I do, but I'm about to have surgery next week. So anyway, I'm planning on starting it July 1. Then we shall see!

Well depending on what kind of surgury you have, you might not be able to do all of the exercises. The people on tv make it look really easy, you'd think it would be easy to lay down with your arms stretched up and sit all the way up, but I sure cant do it without lifting my feet! LOL!!!

My mom started pilates a couple of months ago. She really likes it. I personally don't see the attraction but she enjoys it very much and that's saying a lot cause she has never iked any excercise regimin enough to stick to it. I'm really happy that she found something that works for her cause she's two years post op from gastric bypass surgery and while she's lost about 250 lbs she still has a ways to go and she's gotten to the point where she can no longer depend on the surgery alone to keep losing.

Let us know how it works for you.
