If you operate a multi-page website, I can host a vB message board for you, free.
My co-op style forum group is not cluttered with banners. It is funded by 1 advertising email weekly. If you have a business, I will take care not to compete.
All that is required is for you to place a text link from your home page(or other primary page) to the home page of my co-op style forum group: "Free Bulletin Boards & Free Message Boards." This does not have to be prominent, and of course, you also can place any links you want directly to your message board.
In addition to being "free" this might be better than operating your own message board because:
1. No hassles. No worry about spam spoiling your site.
2. Free traffic. Members who join other message boards will see your message board, and automatically will know about your website. These visitors already are "interacting" and are serious surfers. This is the basic idea behind my co-op style message board.
