Hello All-
I am new to ILJ, and have just found this board.
I have just become a published writer, and would like to announce my book- Awaken the Warrior.
The way I actually found this site is interesting...a search for webhosting servers led me here, as I would like to put up a site for my book.
Awaken the Warrior deals with the subversion of our understanding of the Warrior archetype within us, and the relationship of the characteristics of the Warrior with the Armor of God.
The first part of the book addresses the issues pertinent to today...the reality of Spiritual Warfare and the characteristics required of the Warrior to engage in this battle. This is described as his Mettle.
Part II of Awaken deals with the Warriors Armor- the Armor of God- his Metal. It is an extensive study of the attributes of the armor, how it can be manifested and polished.
Awaken the Warrior can serve as an excellent Bible study, all the scripture quotes are enclosed and cited.
Having over 20 years experience with medieval martial armored combat, I have included many historical and illuminating points.
The reason each piece of armor is described specifically as they are...salvation-a helmet, the Word of God- a sword, Faith- a shield, etc, eludes all but the most astute and informed. There is a reason for each association, and this book lays it all out for you.
I have been directed to make a ministry out of this information, and make available Bible studies, seminars, retreats, lecture series, and presentations. The live presentations are especially powerful, not scripted, and done in full armor for visual effect.
I hope to be opening a website thru ILJ soon, and look to be an active participant!
