In brief it is an intensive one year overview of history focusing on:
Philosophical and Literary Classics
Reading the Scriptures: "Creation, Visitation, and Recreation"
Art and Theology in the Christian West
History of Mathematics
Science, Medicine and Faith
Latin
Music and Culture in the Christian West
Classes are limited to 25 students MAX. Great sudent-teacher ratio.
This college is not only appropriate for highschool students to gain a foundation for future learning, but also for those who have already been to college, to round out their education.
Tuition fees for 2003-2004 will be: $7,500
Residence rent is approximately $1,500 Cdn per semester.
Augustine College has credit transfer agreements with:
Redeemer University College (Ancaster, Ontario)
St. Francis Xavier University (Antigonish, Nova Scotia)
Trinity Western University (Langley, British Columbia).
Also, our students have received full transfer of credits from some American institutions including:
Wheaton College
Houghton College
Hillsdale College
Baylor University
Calvin College
If you are planning on going to any of the above universities, you may find it more economic to take your first year at Augustine.
